Austin, Texas – August 11, 2015 – PTV Healthcare Capital

We enable healthcare innovation is more than a tagline for PTV.  It’s a guiding mantra that we employ every day.  As part of PTV’s ongoing initiative of serving entrepreneurs as valued thought leaders and supporting the healthcare ecosystem, we have developed a number of speaking panels for inclusion in Austin’s own SXSW Interactive Festival.

As you may know, SXSW (South by South West) is THE premiere venue for the convergence of cutting-edge technologies with the brightest minds to shape global conversations around innovation, inspiration and creativity. From hands-on training to big-picture analysis of the future, SXSW Interactive has become the place to preview the technology of tomorrow today.

SXSW’s 2016 Interactive Festival will feature five days of compelling presentations and panels  including two full days dedicated to health and wellness at their SX Health & Medtech Expo, scheduled for March 12 & 13, 2016.

Over the past few months, our team has worked with our network of trusted advisors to develop and source four world class healthcare panels, representing the highest caliber healthcare experts on the most cutting edge healthcare topics. We believe each panel session is representative of the SXSW brand, showcasing up-and-coming technologies and thought leaders who will excite SXSW attendees by exploring the latest ideas that are disrupting healthcare. We are incredibly proud of the programming we’ve put together and hope to see it on stage next March at SXSW.

How can you help? Panel submissions such as PTV’s are selected to the final SXSW lineup with the influence of a community vote, which ensures that each panel session developed will resonate with their audience.  This “proof of concept” phase continues throughout the month of August and ends September 4, after which the final SXSW programming selections will be announced on October 19, 2015. Voting is quick and easy (more details below) and is a great way for SXSW to gage how much buzz each session will have when it debuts on their stage in March 2016.  We will keep you apprised of PTV’s progress and hope to see you on the SXSW stage in March 2016!

How to vote:

  1. Register for SXSW PanelPicker and confirm your email address.
  2. Visit our panel’s page and click the “thumbs up” to vote.
  3. Share PTV panels with your Facebook friends, Twitter followers and LinkedIn contacts and encourage them to vote.
