PTV Expands World Class Expertise
Austin, Texas – October 3, 2016 – PTV Healthcare Capital announced today the addition of Kim Bridges and Bill McClellan to PTV’s Business Advisory Board. Together, the two bring invaluable business development and global leadership experience to aid in portfolio company expansion. PTV also welcomes John Heller as an Entrepreneur in Residence to serve alongside PTV’s investment team.
Kim Bridges brings nearly 20 years of medical device experience in cardiology, radiology, vascular surgery, neurology and women’s health. Kim currently serves as the President and CEO of Halt Medical, a privately held company, developing minimally invasive, uterine sparing solutions for women who suffer from symptomatic fibroids. Prior to Halt, she served at Spectranetics [NYSE: SPNC], as Senior Vice President of the Vascular Intervention business unit, which more than doubled US revenue under her leadership. Prior to joining Spectranetics, Kim has held several global vice president and management roles in sales, marketing, therapy development and general business management at companies such as Blockade Medical, Stryker Neurovascular, Concentric Medical, Johnson & Johnson and Guidant Corporation. She received her Executive MBA at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and BS in Management from Pepperdine University.
Bill McClellan is an experienced Finance Executive and CFO most recently for On-X Life Technologies, Inc., a heart surgery medical device company which sold to CryoLife in 2016. He currently serves on the Board of Apollo Endosurgery and is chairman of their Audit Committee. He also serves on various advisory and non-profit boards. Early in his career, he spent nine years specializing in healthcare with the public accounting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers (formerly Price Waterhouse) followed by executive management positions with PhyCor, Inc., Physicians Trust, Inc., US Orthopedics, Inc., and Acxiom Corporation. Bill is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and a Certified Public Accountant.
John Heller is an executive leader with expertise in operations, finance and supply chain management across a variety of consumer package goods and technology based industries. He most recently served as the Chief Operating Office for Yummy Earth, the leading Organic Candy company within the Natural Food channel, where he had responsibility for all operations, including the management of out-sourced manufacturing operations in Mexico, France and the United States.
Prior to this role, John was the Vice President of Supply Chain Services for Keurig Green Mountain, where he was responsible for developing effective supply chain relationships across the Mass Merchant, Specialty Retail, Club, and Grocery channels. Through his leadership, the SCS team established productive partnerships with customers that allowed for fulfillment and distribution operations focused on speed, efficiency and effectiveness. He also served as the Vice President of Logistics, where he was responsible for the integration and management of the logistics and fulfillment operations of multiple business units into one enterprise organization with almost $5 billion of annual revenue. In his initial role at Keurig, John was the Vice President of Finance and Operations, leading his teams during a period of revenue growth from $135 million to $1.7 billion. He also managed all distribution and fulfillment activities, as well as the production planning of all overseas contract manufacturing.
Prior to Keurig, John served in a variety of finance and operations leadership roles in the high tech industry and as an M&A advisor with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he earned his CPA designation. John started his leadership career as an officer in the United States Army serving in a number of roles including Blackhawk helicopter pilot and Associate Professor at USMA. John earned a B.S. from the United States Military Academy, an MBA from Duke University and he is currently completing his Masters in Supply Chain Management from Penn State University.
