PTV recognized among Most Consistent Top Performing Private Equity Fund Managers and Most Consistent Top Performing Venture Capital Fund Managers in 2017 Preqin Performance Monitor
Austin, Texas – October 30, 2017 – PTV Healthcare Capital announced today that PTV has been listed in the 2017 Preqin Performance Monitor as both a Most Consistent Top Performing Private Equity Fund Manager and Most Consistent Top Performing Venture Capital Fund Manager.
The 2017 Preqin Alternative Assets Performance Monitor compiles the alternative assets industry’s latest performance data and the analysis of more than 25,700 funds. It is utilized by thousands of industry professionals every year to access statistics, analysis, trends, league tables, and commentary.
For Most Consistent Performing Private Equity Fund Managers, based on 546 firms and 3,780 funds fulfilling the selection criteria, PTV was one of 140 firms to make the list.
For Most Consistent Top Performing Venture Capital Fund Managers, based on 138 firms and 767 funds fulfilling the selection criteria, PTV was one of 45 firms to make the list.
Consistent fund performance across a series of funds is of great importance for long-term private equity investors. Preqin’s analysis has shown that the majority of fund managers with top-quartile funds go on to produce returns in their later series of funds that also beat the median benchmarks. PTV was previously named a Preqin Consistent Performing Venture Capital Fund Manager in 2010 and 2014.
